Welcome to Coed Hirwaun Primary School website. Coed Hirwaun is situated in a rural location nestled in beautiful woodland very near to Margam Park which has a wealth of local history.

We are witnessing in Coed Hirwaun the birth of a new community and with it comes the opportunity for a school and its environment to prosper, flourish and grow.

The school was opened in January 2002. The number of pupils on that day was 56. We have since increased to 156 pupils.

The aim of this website is to promote the school through childrens work.
